Welcome to Virgo Season! With the Sun now in the 6th sign of the zodiac, we open up to the energies of work, service, health, and nutrition. If things feel messy post eclipse, use Virgo to make a list and get organized over the next four weeks.
Virgo is an earth sign. As the compliment to Gemini — both are ruled by the planet Mercury — Virgo takes the information and experiences gathered by Gemini and sorts it into something coherent, building a hierarchical system. For that, Virgo deeply understands that everything has its place as well as what is needed to make sure the system keeps running.
On an everyday level, Virgo has a reputation for fastidiousness, perfection, craft, and an attention to detail. It’s the nurse of the zodiac and has an instinct to help, conscious of the needs of others. My joke is that if you need something done and done well, give the task to a Virgo.
Even if you’re not a Virgo, this is a great time to take a critical eye and figure out what needs to be improved, tidied, sorted, and cleaned out. What do you need to do to make your day run more smoothly? Do you need to make a change in your diet? Do you need to pay more attention to your health? Virgo says get to work.
PS — Mercury is still retrograde so we enter Virgo Season looking toward the past instead and revisiting something of moving forward.
