The Moon’s in Cancer and we’re feeling an urge to nest and spend time with family and close loved ones. A Cancer Moon is a sensitive Moon driven by feeling and instinct as well as a need to bond. Make connection today, cook, or tend to the home.
That said, we’re coming up on a couple of things of note. The first thing is that Saturn turns direct in Capricorn on September 6 and we’re likely starting to feel Saturn’s demand that we do better, honor or commitments and responsibilities, and make the right choices. There’s a strong need for accountability, too, so pay attention to where Saturn wants more accountability in your life. (Not sure where? Check out my Saturn in Capricorn: Sign by Sign guide.)
The other thing is that we’re sliding into the last few days of the lunar month, the next one beginning on September 9. As we get closer, we’re likely going to start picking up on the Sun’s annual opposition to Neptune and I’ve noticed that strong Neptune energy in the sky tends to make a lot of you sensitive folks even more sensitive. Neptune can overwhelm. It can flood us with feeling. It can bring up heavier emotions, too.
It’s important that we stay grounded in our bodies when Neptune energy is strong. This means eating healthily or doing exercise, even if it’s soft, gentle movements. Massage and other body treatments are also a good way to work with this energy. Plus Neptune can be an excellent conduit for meditation, art, and music. Just be careful about substances and other forms of escapism.
