The Astrology of December 25, 2025

Venus arrives in Capricorn, a sign where the planet of money and relationships meets up with the sign of matter and the material world. For the next four weeks, we are more conscious of our assets and resources. Venus in Capricorn always asks, is it worth it?

Worth, of course, is subjective. Although when we are in a season devoted to an earth sign such as Capricorn, “worth” has to meet a basic material standard. In Taurus, Venus’s home sign, Venus has a desire to accumulate and experience the pleasures of life. In Capricorn, Venus desires long-term security. Sometimes that includes wealth and investments. Sometimes Venus in Capricorn is driven by frugality in order to secure its future.

Each sign, each planet has something to teach us about life and our own relationship — in the case of Venus — with money and resources, value and worth. The zodiac is a wheel and we circle back each year to deepen our understanding even more.

That said, for those who celebrate, Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
