With Mars now retrograde, we need to slow down. Our actions need to be deliberate. We have to examine our instincts, our impulses, and our power. Mercury opposes Chiron today, too, and we also need to understand how our choices impact others.
Feeling tired or run down, especially if you’re an Aries or Scorpio, that’s because yesterday’s Mars Retrograde made a square to Saturn, a planet that can make us feel time, age, or a sense of limitation. (Personally, as a Scorpio, I’m feeling bone tired at the moment.)
Mars is also one of our fuel sources, so we’re not exactly running on full power for the next two months. But this just simply means that, one, it’s time to rest more than it is to take action. Two, it also means that we have to do things differently, adapting and compensating as needed.
Tragically, the American West is on fire and the skies of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and other west coast cities are red like Mars. Sometimes the astrology is a little too literal. (I know I have clients in Oregon, so my thoughts as well as my heart is with you all.)
That said, we’re coming up to the Sun’s annual opposition to Neptune. Life’s a little hazy at the moment. Neptune can make things unclear. Is it reality or is it an illusion? Can we open our hearts and have compassion for those who are suffering? Can we see ourselves as well as our humanity in others? Use today to reflect, meditate, and search for answers within.

Thanks Katie for the call out to Oregon. I appreciate your good heart. ❤️ We are definitely seeing red and in the fires these days. It’s all a bit overwhelming. Nice to have you remember us in your post as I came here tonight for some kindness and care Thanks
