We start the weekend with a Leo Moon, one that’s still in a playful, relaxed mood. But by Saturday the Moon moves into Virgo and it’s time to work. Use the weekend to tend to projects, get organized, get cleaned up, and check off items from the to-do list.
Mercury, the ruler of Virgo, also turns retrograde on Sunday, July 7. While this is nothing to get nervous about because it connects us to the natural ebb and flow of time, there are a few things we need to keep in mind.
One, Mercury Retrograde is about reviewing our choices and and actions. Yes, sometimes things get screwy and electronics act strange, but fundamentally the time is a reminder that we can’t always power forward. Life is about duality and finding the balance between the two.
Two, because I always get asked this question, yes, you can still start jobs or do things during Mercury Retrograde … there’s just a level of assumed risk in doing so. My personal philosophy is that if time, money, and piece of mind are on the line and you have the luxury to wait, then wait. Mercury turns direct on July 31.
PS — I’m teaching a webinar on Pluto: Turning Shadows into Light next weekend, July 13. As we get deeper into these eclipse energies and their activation of Pluto in Capricorn, we have a lot of soul work to do this month. Learn how to use Pluto in the highest consciousness.
