Today the Sun reaches the final degree of Virgo, wrapping up its stay in the sign of service, organization, purity, health, and wellness. It’s been an interesting Virgo season, one marked by two pretty intense eclipses. It’s safe to say that something has shifted, the terrain before us a little different.

The Sun is also right on the degree that Mercury was at when it stationed retrograde on August 30. Seeing how the Sun is a luminary, it’s shining its light on something that began on that date or, rather, a story that has unfolded over the course of Mercury Retrograde.
If things are feeling a touch intense now it’s because Mercury is coming to a halt in aspect to Pluto, a planet known for its demand for change and a stark look within. Mercury is also stationing near the lunar nodes + an opposition to Neptune. Don’t be surprised if Mercury direct on Thursday sets things in motion, brings something to light, or even pushes you to make a major change of course. Neptune says, let go. Make peace with the things that are out of your control. Tie up loose ends as much as you can.

Tomorrow we head into Libra season, Mercury will turn direct, and we’ll start to get a real taste of what this whole Jupiter in Libra transit will be about.
