As of this morning Mars is back in Scorpio. Here’s what you need to know and why Scorpio is going to be a strong theme into early August.
In astrology we say that Mars is in its dignity in Scorpio. Another way to say it is that the red planet is right at home in Scorpio, the sign that it rules. If Mars is action then Scorpio is power, invoking the forces of life and death, chrysalis, and resurrection. Scorpio is a look into the dark underbelly of life as well as the darkness within. Scorpio is wealth, finance, legacies, inheritances as well as intimacy, sexuality, and psychology. These are the themes that Mars in Scorpio will invoke.
We’re not completely unfamiliar with Mars in Scorpio. In fact Mars was in Scorpio from January 3 to March 5, 2016. With Mars retrograding back into Scorpio, we’ll be revisiting events, feelings, and takings of consciousness from the last two weeks of February and first few days of March. I find it interesting that Mars is basically reworking the same territory that Saturn retrograded through most of 2015. It’s like we’re getting a replay of Saturn in Scorpio and the lessons from that time. Nothing happens by accident. Time for us to take action on what we learned.
