My dad emailed me yesterday:

Hi Kate,

What the hell is going on in my horoscope?

You know stuff is getting real when your dad is emailing for cosmic insight. (He’s an Aquarius with Scorpio rising, BTW.)

We’re a week and a half way from a pretty intense solar eclipse in Pisces. People are feeling the pressure, the winds are starting to shift, and there’s a sense that we’re about to shift into something new.

Eclipses are inherently about change. They create a sense of force and momentum in the horoscope, directing energy in a specific area. And every six months we have eclipses.

So, if solar eclipses open up a new chapter, seeding the energies our our reality, the next six months will be all about Pisces — that’s why I’ve been laying a foundation this week about all the different facets of the Pisces archetype because we’re about to live it intimately.

Additionally, the Sun and Neptune will merge on Sunday. This is an incredibly sensitive alignment of energies that only happens once a year. Normally the Sun is this planet steeped in ego and self identification. But Neptune, however, is all about something greater. We’re being called upon this weekend to be selfless, compassionate, use our talents to help others, explore the mystical, and engage in acts of charity.

Here’s the thing about Neptune — it’s energies are like a flood. And when something floods, everything comes to the surface.
