One of the threads of yesterday’s Virgo Full Moon was this ongoing opposition we’re having between Jupiter and Chiron. If Jupiter is faith and a search for meaning, then Chiron is the pain and grief that gnaws at our faith. We’ve all been through so much in this life time. What happens when we start to tally the losses through all our lives? What’s our karmic relationship with spirit? Humility? Forgiveness? Is it hard to forgive in light of our pain? Do we shake our fists at god in a rage? Have we lost our faith?
This is Jupiter opposite Chiron and today marks the second pass of the opposition. (The first was on November 3, 2015 and the last on August 12, 2016). There’s a demand for healing, for resolution, to undo the emotional and energetic knots that bind us. If yesterday’s full moon put the spotlight on purification and the work we do on a collective level (Virgo ruled Mercury in Aquarius), how can we open up space for humanity if we’re still holding the knots and tears on our part of the collective fabric? Imagine if we all undid our knots? How much space in the world for light would there be?
This is our work. Our pain is not personal even though it seems it at times; it’s part of a universal experience of which we’re incarnating one part. Virgo may be physical purification and health, but it’s Pisces — especially Chiron and Neptune in Pisces — that opens up opportunities for soul level purification. For me, this full moon has highlighted the energy of humility and redemption. May you find those keys as well this week.
