Happy birthday, magical, alluring Pisces! You’re the last sign of the zodiac, the space where humanity feels the cosmic call to return home, back to Source. You are the healing waters of the divine, compassion, redemption and universality. As a sign you feel so deeply because you feel the pain of everyone. You are empathic, sensitive, psychic, intuitive, and caring, too. Sometimes you get lost in others and try to save people, but no one can fault you for having your heart in the right place.
As I mentioned yesterday, I said we’re all in store for some heavy soul searching during Pisces season. Why?
Two things. One, Jupiter and Chiron are in opposition and Jupiter is the ruler of Pisces. When two planets are in opposition they are in tension. There is a push or a demand to resolve something. And what is Chiron? Emotional and psychic knots that we carry from repeated trauma in both this life and others. Chiron in Pisces? These knots are existential, spiritual, and gnaw at something deeper than we can articulate. Chiron in Pisces is the pain and fear that we’re all alone in this world. So this is a story that will be quite active over the next four weeks — and it will need healing and resolution.
Two, we’re coming up to a solar eclipse in Pisces right on the South Node on March 8. If solar eclipses open up new six month chapters, we’re all going to be examining deep themes of letting go, surrender, faith in something outside of ourselves, and reconnecting with universality. We will also have to take a serious look at our addictions, where we lose ourselves, our illusions, and where we need better boundaries.
Keep this in mind though. Pisces, in its highest expression, is the energy of redemption. Whatever comes up for us over the next four weeks — whatever pain, whatever suffering — know to call on the energy of redemption. Pisces is unconditional love, the Cosmic Mother. And if Virgo is purification of the body, Pisces is purification of the soul.
