When I look to the year ahead, I always look at the same actors — Saturn and the eclipses. Saturn is always our priority for the year, depending on what sign it is in. The eclipses are always the months when things change, sometimes dramatically so. Of course, there are other planets and aspects to consider. Overall, I’m looking for a common theme and narrative.
In 2026, the dominant theme is “new beginnings.” Both Saturn — our long-term priority — and Neptune — our spiritual work — are in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, the sign of renewal and new beginnings.
The eclipses move into Aquarius and Leo in February and August, months that will bring pivots personally and collectively. If Aries brings new beginnings, a solar eclipse puts our focus on humanity and society, social issues and the collective.
