Welcome to Libra Season. The Sun arrives in the seventh sign of the zodiac at 2:19 pm ET, marking the equinox — equal day and night. Libra is the harmony of opposites. Through its ruler Venus, we seek beauty and connection, fairness and equity.
We’ve had quite the busy past few days with the astrology. The equinox and the change of seasons — autumn here in the northern hemisphere, spring in the southern — is only the latest. Since it’s only been a day since a solar eclipse, energies may be more intense all week long. Eclipses have been known to mark personal events and herald achievements and milestones. Doors tend to open and close around eclipses. Take note of the themes and experiences that you’ve been having this month. They may be connected to a larger story.
Continuing the shift in the sky, Mars arrives in Scorpio for a six-week return home. Mars is the ruler of Scorpio and here the planet of action and courage mixes with the dark waters of Scorpio’s unknown, inspiring us to have the bravery to go inward, to discover our deepest facets, to use Scorpio’s power to transform ourselves.
