Just days away from a lunar eclipse, we’re in a vortex of energies that are transitioning us from one cycle to another. Emotions may be running high. There’s a sense of anticipation. Lunar eclipses can often mark personal milestones and notable events.
If astrology measures time then eclipses and the lunar cycle are the engine of time. Every six months a pair of eclipses turns the wheel of our lives. This September, we have two eclipses: a lunar eclipse at 15 Pisces on September 7 and a solar eclipse at 29 Virgo on September 21.
That’s not to say that anything is going to happen. For many, a key area of our lives will demand more attention throughout this month and beyond. It could be family, a relationship, or even our health and wellness, for example. But for some, especially those with key planets and positions around 15 Pisces and 29 Virgo (raises hand), September may bring notable events. And since eclipses can manifest before, it’s possible that we saw eclipse-activated events in August.
This eclipse season we have a couple of notable changes in the sky. First was yesterday’s return of Saturn to Pisces. The second will be Uranus Retrograde at 1 Gemini on September 6, giving us an eclipse season of awakenings, epiphanies, and a desire to do things differently.
Mercury also changes places today, arriving in Virgo, its home sign. We may feel more of that classic Virgo urge to clean, organize, and prepare space.
