The Astrology of September 11, 2025

Mercury, following in the footsteps of the Sun, meets up with the Virgo South Node today. As the ruler of Virgo Season, Mercury holds the keys. Conversations may seem fated, decisions prepare us for a new chapter. Discernment is critical.

In two weeks, we will have a solar eclipse in Virgo, a new moon at 29 degrees that will set us up for the next six months. Eclipses have six-month cycles that connect to a larger 18-month cycle. So, you could say that we are presently wrapping up a cycle that began with an Aries New Moon solar eclipse on March 29.

That said, what can we glean from this upcoming eclipse in Virgo? Commitment, dedication, practice, and refinement, amongst others, will be key themes as we go into 2026. Virgo asks us to take a step up within ourselves, to make the decision to do better and be better. With an exact opposition to Saturn at 29 Pisces, we will have to really push ourselves over the coming months. Saturn sets a high bar for us to reach.

In the meantime, we prepare ourselves.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for September 12, 2025.
