As we start the week, we reach the end of Libra Season. The Sun is at the last degree of the sign, bringing to a conclusion a season punctuated by a high-intensity solar eclipse. It’s a day of transition and reflection. What have we learned? What has changed?
Since Venus is in Sagittarius, and Venus rules Libra, we have a day to look towards the horizon, to get philosophical, to have deep conversations. After all, Mercury is in Scorpio. There’s a lot of value in being honest and vulnerable.
Speaking of Scorpio, we’re about to kick off a new season. The Sun in Scorpio, starting tomorrow, is our annual descent into the underworld. If Libra marked the fall equinox in the northern hemisphere — equal day and night — Scorpio brings us into increasing darker days and colder nights. It’s a reality as much as it is a metaphor.
Regardless of where we are in the world, Scorpio will invite us to examine the hidden parts within and to take advantage of its emotional and spiritual alchemy in order to transform.
In a way we get a preview of this energy today as the Sun squares with Pluto in Capricorn (the last square to Pluto in Capricorn for another two centuries). Pluto is power … the power to look within, the power to make a personal change.
