As we start the week, we go into the last stretch of Libra Season, a season that has highlighted the value of relationship and partnership. With Venus also in Libra, we’ve put on the charm, sought out beauty, and reached for balance.
It’s good to remember this balance as we go into a week that not only leads us up to Scorpio Season, but Saturn Direct at 18 Aquarius on October 23 and the run up to a solar eclipse in Scorpio on October 25.
What this means is that the cosmic energies are going to get a bit intense. Being in the threshold of a new season as well as a solar eclipse is like the tension of waiting for the next act to begin. The curtain has come down. We can sense movement on the stage. What scene will await us when the curtain comes up?
Saturn, on the other hand, marks a structural point for the year, a time when things want to take shape and take hold … or break apart because something is not working. Saturn, like Libra, always wants balance, equity, and fairness. And if something is not balance, equitable, or fair, it needs to be reworked.
When Saturn turns direct in Aquarius, it will do so in a tight square to Uranus at 17 Taurus. While not an exact square, it echos the three Saturn-Uranus squares of 2021 back in February, June, and December. Add in the energies of eclipse season, and this may be a week of powerful pivots.

In the meantime, the Sun makes a trine to Mars in Gemini today, giving us the energies of motivation and drive as we start the week. With the Moon in Cancer, we’re focused on our duties and responsibilities in addition to making time for the things that are important.
