We go into the weekend with a Capricorn Moon picking up on support from Mars-Saturn, a trine that provides a steady hand in the midst of a tense lineup of planets. It’s a weekend to put the work in, to build and construct, to take the lead towards our goals.
This may be a technical point, but it’s an important one. Saturn is currently ruled by Mars because Saturn is in Aries, a sign that Mars rules. This means that Mars drives our experience while Saturn is in Aries. So, if Saturn represents our long term priorities, then this weekend’s trine between Mars in Leo and Saturn in Aries provides support for these long term priorities.
Let’s take a look at Saturn. It’s been in the sign of Aries since February 13, 2026, which was a big shift for everyone, a literal shift of priorities in our lives that began around that time. For some of us, Aries is a key sign — the sign of our Sun and rising, or a career sign, or a relationship sign.
Saturn is one of the most important planets to pay attention to. While it spends 2-3 years in one zodiac sign, that sign and what it signifies in our own astrology becomes our top focus. Aries may be our relationship sign or our career sign, for example. And so Saturn has us working hard to shore up, reconstruct, and to grow our maturity.
Look for opportunities this weekend. Whatever is manifesting in our lives is related to a larger story of growth and maturity that has been building since February. Read Saturn in Aries: Sign by Sign.
