Today’s Leo Moon helps us to look towards the future, to hope and dream for what we want to create in our lives. It’s also a moon that favors community and connection, especially with support from the Libra Sun. Use it to spend time with friends.
Now that Venus is in Libra, we may be in a more social mood. Libra, an air sign, needs to move and explore. It’s also chatty, charming, and courteous. It values manners and social grace.
Note that now that Venus is in Libra, it makes an opposition to Neptune, an aspect that has a reputation for ethereal or magnetic beauty as much as it can speak to the illusions we hold in relationships.
That said, we’re wrapping up a lunar month that didn’t begin with Libra. It actually began with a Virgo New Moon solar eclipse on September 21. Next week’s Libra New Moon on October 21 will shift us more towards the Libra energies and archetypes. But the energies of the Virgo solar eclipse will be with us, a key theme and focus into February — clean up, streamline, organize, and put things in order.
