If new moons are new beginnings, then we start the week buoyed by the energies of Saturday’s Libra New Moon. It’s a new chapter, one that focuses on relationship and connection. With Venus Retrograde in Scorpio, we’re working to heal toxic relationship patterns.

Because a new moon sets a container for our lives to unfold within a four-week period, it’s important to note that there are tense emotional and psychological energies built into the energies of the Libra New Moon. Mars and Pluto are opposite. Venus squares both Pluto and Mars — creating a t-square pattern. The Sun is opposite Saturn, too. (Read my Libra New Moon report.)

While this is nothing to worry about, I mention this so that we can be grounded and present in the days and weeks to come. If we are feeling raw, what positive and proactive steps will we take to care for ourselves? If something just isn’t working, how can we take the guidance of Saturn and accept that a matter has run its course? If an old issue has bubbled up to the surface, how will we have the courage to make a change?

The Moon is in Scorpio today, Moon for bracing truths, deep conversations, and a heightened awareness of matters of stability and security.
