Saturn turns direct in Aquarius, a major milestone in the astrology of this year. The bar is set higher this week. We have to build, construct, and keep our responsibilities. We’re feeling the weight of time.
Despite Saturn’s fearsome reputation in traditional astrology, I love Saturn because without its energies, this is no structure; nothing is concrete. There’s a reason Saturn rules bones and teeth in astrology. Imagine how impossible life would be without them.
Nevertheless this could be a week when we’re running up against Saturn’s hard energies, especially if we’ve crossed a line or not honored a commitment or duty. Saturn has a habit of saying no to anything that’s not built to last, out of balance, or not in our best interest.
But Saturn also says yes. This could be a week when Saturn’s hard energies bring something together, marking a milestone or an achievement. Perhaps we’re given a promotion or a new title. Perhaps we’re taking on new leadership or becoming a mentor. Maybe it’s even a purchase of a new home or a major decision.
An important thing to keep in mind is that Saturn turns direct in a square to Uranus in Taurus. This isn’t just milestones and structures. It’s a revolution and awakening.
