Venus in Scorpio makes a dramatic opposition to Uranus in Taurus, an aspect that may provide a few unexpected twists and turns this eclipse season. We may be confronted by a relationship or a connection. Something may push us to see things differently.
There’s so much happening around the Lunar Nodes this week and into the weekend that life may seem a bit loud. The Nodes speak to what I call “Big Life”, milestone events and major decisions that send us off into new directions. If astrology is about time, our relationship with time, and how time is built, then contacts to the Nodes are places where we see time getting built.
Venus rules the Taurus North Node as well as Uranus in Taurus, a dynamic tension that evokes a story that’s been with us since May 2018, March 2019. Uranus is the planet of awakenings and reinventions, consciousness and awareness, revolutions and breaks from the past. (Learn more in Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign.)
Speaking of the Nodes, the Scorpio Sun meets with the South Node of the Moon today, a reminder that we’re in between the eclipses, one that began with a Scorpio solar eclipse on October 25 and will finish off with a Taurus lunar eclipse on November 8. Remember to find solid ground. And, as much as Scorpio is about endings, make sure you enjoy the life-affirming pleasure of Taurus.
