The Moon straddles Gemini and Cancer today, two very different signs. While Gemini is restless in its pursuit of information and ideas, Cancer wants us to slow down and find comfort, care, and connection. With Mercury Direct, things are a little wonky, too.
Yes, we came out of Mercury Retrograde yesterday, normally something that I don’t get too worked up about, but Mercury turned direct in a tight square to Saturn. We’ve got serious decisions to make. We have to put things in order. Our choices, our words have a lasting impact.
The thing is that Mercury spends this week squaring Saturn, making the third in a trio of squares on November 6. It’s possible that something isn’t fully resolved and won’t be until later this week. Mercury also picks up on the energy of Pluto in Capricorn. Things feel heavy, too.
That said, we’re in a little bit of a time out until the Moon crosses into Cancer. And when it does, it’s wanting the comforts of home as well as the nostalgic and the familiar. It’s also getting us to think more deeply about themes of faith, truth, and meaning. What do we believe in? What are our convictions?
