Mercury turns direct after a three week retrograde spanning the signs of Scorpio and Libra. We’ve had to reinvestigate, research, and reevaluate. With Mercury pivoting in aspect to Saturn, there are serious choices to weigh that may impact our future.
Since we are incarnated in a body on earth, we’re subject to the rules of Saturn, which is to say the rules of manifestation. Life has limits and boundaries. We can’t escape time, aging, responsibility, and the results of our actions. We have to work and build for the future. We can’t sidestep Saturn.
So when we come up against Saturn in the astrology, it’s important to understand what Saturn wants and how we have to make sure that the planet involved — in this case Mercury — is honoring Saturn. We understand that our thoughts, words, and choices have consequences. We have to use our voice responsibly. We must exercise our minds and strengthen our critical thinking skills. In the end, Saturn wants equity and balance, something that Mercury in Libra can appreciate.
Note that Mercury is pretty much square Saturn all week, so this is something we’re working through over the coming days.
Mercury Direct today also means that we may be experiencing the usual shenanigans. I’ve already had to restart my computer twice.
