Welcome to Sagittarius Season. We step into the light of faith and truth after the dark alchemy of Scorpio. It’s a season to search for meaning, to ask why, and seek out answers. Sagittarius opens up our eyes to the world through education, travel, and philosophy.
As the last fire sign, Sagittarius takes the initial spark of life born out of Aries, given passion and creative expression through Leo, and connects it to something greater. This is the fire of revelation. It also holds the fire for others, inspiring those to follow and take a leap.
To be in the energies of Sagittarius is to feel wonder — the wonder of the world, the wonder of connection, the wonder of the stars. With a nod to Jupiter, its ruler, we can’t let our world be small over the next few weeks.
With that in mind, it’s a season to see the world and to try to make sense of everything. It’s also a season to meditate on what we believe in as well as what we stand for. Sagittarius has a strong sense of justice and advocacy. We just need to make sure we’re careful to avoid self righteousness.
Jupiter’s in the remaining degrees of Pisces, about to turn direct tomorrow, November 22. Here we see the two sides of Jupiter. As the ruler of Sagittarius, wisdom comes from the world outside of us. As the ruler of Pisces, wisdom comes from within.
We’re also on the verge of a Sagittarius New Moon, which arrives tomorrow alongside Jupiter Direct. We’re about to start a quest in search for truth and meaning in our lives.
