Right behind Venus, Mercury arrives in Sagittarius, another signal that the Season is beginning to shift. Mercury has a lot to say in Sagittarius and is known for its wisdom as well as wit. With Mars in Gemini, be mindful of sharp words and opinions.
We may be getting the itch to travel and roam. Ruled by Jupiter, Sagittarius knows that there’s a big world out there and it’s not about to sit at home. No, it’s in search of new experiences and perspectives.
As a whole, Sagittarius is a sign that is about knowledge gained from external sources and experiences. That’s why it’s the sign of long distance journeys, higher education, publishing, religion, and law. Mercury is not classically at home in Sagittarius and it’s easy for us to think we know it all and miss something crucial.
So, keep your minds open over the next few weeks. Although Mercury and Mars in opposition can be a little combative, Mars retrograde is a reminder not to rush to conclusions, to see things from another point of view.
