Mercury changes signs, moving from the air of Libra to the water of Scorpio. Mercury finds power and drive in Scorpio, a Mars ruled sign. It can be obsessive in its search for ideas, information, and even secrets. It can also be blunt truths that cut through illusions.
When Mercury is in Scorpio, which it will until December 1, we have a habit of talking about and sharing things that we wouldn’t normally share or talk about. Conversations can be cathartic, powerful, and transformative. We have an opportunity to release old traumas and toxicities.
Mercury also picks up on Mars’s upcoming station direct. In fact, if you look in the night sky these days, you’ll see Mars quite visibly red. In the coming days we may feel a pressure start to build, like the tension before a rainstorm or the feeling you get before the start of something. Mars’s direct turn may feel like a dam bust of energy after a two month retrograde hiatus.
Speaking of water, the Scorpio Sun trines Neptune in Pisces today. If the veil is already thin while the Sun is in Scorpio, it’s extra thin today. Pay attention to any intuitive flashes, dreams, downloads, or insights. Be more open hearted and compassionate.
