A Libra Moon takes us into the weekend. Like yesterday, the spotlight is on Venus, a planet that wants to connect and socialize, seek beauty and pleasure. We’re also on the cusp of a powerful Scorpio Full Moon. Emotions may run high this weekend.
We can’t have Taurus without Scorpio and Scorpio without Taurus. In the wheel of the zodiac, each sign has an opposing sign. Despite what we would expect the word opposing to mean, they are instead dance partners, two signs that pivot between two energies.
Taurus and Scorpio are two of the signs of matter, ruling over money, property, resources, and legacies. If Taurus is also the natural world in full bloom, Scorpio is that same world in a state of decay. Light and dark, day and night … Taurus and Scorpio are powerful signs because they represent the twin forces of life and death and, ultimately, the rebirth of life.
Taurus Season is always a wonderful time for us to refind our footing in the material world. But there’s always Scorpio not too far behind. We need to release the old so that the new can bloom.
The Scorpio Full Moon will be Monday, May 12 at 12:56 pm ET, 22 degrees Scorpio-Taurus.
