The Gemini Sun meets up with the North Node of the Moon today, a reminder that we’re in the middle of eclipse season. And even though it’s not the day of an eclipse, we’re still navigating the twists and turns of life nevertheless.
It’s also a good idea to quickly review what the lunar nodes are since they’re kicking along the astrology right now. First, the nodes are not planets but rather two points in the sky that are exactly opposite. Of these two points, there’s a north node and a south node, like a northern and souther pole of an axis.
Second, in order for an eclipse to happen, a new or full moon needs to be within a certain amount of degrees of the lunar nodes. For example, last week’s Sagittarius Full Moon was along side the lunar nodes and therefore a lunar eclipse. (You can read my full moon report here.)
So today’s merge of the Sun and the North Node, while not an eclipse, speaks to this eclipse energy we’re navigating. It also ties into next week’s solar eclipse on June 10. The doors of life are swinging open. We’re preparing for the next chapter.
Additionally, Mars in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces today, an aspect that brings a little magic into the mix. It also helps us to heal the past and have the courage to take action towards something for the greater good.
More on this as well as this week’s astrology in my Facebook Live today, May 31, at 6 pm EDT. You can watch the replay on YouTube, IGTV, or listen on Spotify.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for June 1.
