Venus in Cancer makes a square to Saturn in Aries. It’s a day to weigh our options, to seriously consider our commitments. A relationship may be at a crossroads. Will we continue? If so, we must make efforts to invest time in strengthening our connections.
In astrology, Saturn can sometimes play a heavy role, marking a separation or a loss. But in the case of today’s Venus-Saturn square, it’s a good reminder that ultimately Saturn loves relationships (according to traditional astrology, the planet finds its “exaltation” in the sign of Libra).
Saturn says relationships, in order to be sustainable for the future, must be in balance. This doesn’t have to be transactional, but balanced in a way that creates harmony (Libra). We can use the square today to recalibrate a relationship, to put it back into harmony, and to make a connection sustainable for the long term.
That said, if a relationship doesn’t have what it takes to go this distance, we may feel Venus and Saturn as a separation.
