Welcome to Gemini Season. The Sun arrives in the third sign of the zodiac. Time to move, explore, and try new things. Gemini takes the experiences of Taurus Season and shares them. We enter a world of options and choices, all expressing the diversity of life.
With Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, still in Taurus for the next few days, we may have to wait to get moving. Taurus is more cautious, asking that we plan, survey, and take practical measures before leaping into something new. As Gemini is the sign of the twins, thus representing the fundamental duality of life, we can use Taurus’s precautionary measures to weigh our options. What is the best choice? What has value for us in the future?
That said, we’ve got some big astrology on the horizon. Saturn, the master timekeeper of the heavens, is set to leave Pisces and arrive in Aries on May 24. With Saturn poised at 29 degrees Pisces, the last degree of the sign as well as the entire zodiac, we need to become aware that great cycles are coming to an end. We may sense something shifting in our lives even if we’re not sure what it is.
While Mercury in Taurus is one to hold onto things, we can use its natural instincts around value and investment to reflect on what we want to take with us into the next great chapter of our lives … and what we want to leave behind.
Saturn’s arrival in Aries is a big deal. It’s the start of a new cycle as well as a shift of focus in our lives.
