We start the week with a Leo Moon, one that wants us to express ourselves, find creativity, and make time for passion. It’s also a power day. The Taurus Sun trines Pluto in Capricorn. Look for opportunities for security and strength as well as transformation.
We’re coming to the end of Taurus Season as well as our seasonal exploration of all things element earth such as money, material wealth, resources, fertility, and pleasure. Taurus is a fixed sign, which means its natural instinct is to be a reliable source of stability, all so that life can thrive.
The caveat is that the fixed signs, which is to say Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius, are not so fixed right now. Not with Saturn and Uranus squaring off all year. So even as opportunities open up for us today, it may call on us to get out of our comfort zone or redefine the boundaries and shapes of things. Later this week, on May 23, Saturn will turn retrograde in a square to Uranus, bringing this theme to a head.
Lastly, Venus meets up with the North Node in Gemini today. When the Nodes are activated, events can feel fated or thrust us into a new direction. Pay attention to who you are meeting today or the connections you make. They may be powerful and significant.
