The Moon is in Capricorn today, reminding us to reach for solid ground in the midst of a lot of ups and downs. Capricorn plays off the earthy energies of Taurus Season, a push to get organized, to return to our duties and responsibilities, to cultivate our ambitions.
Perhaps this is a good time for a friendly check-in with Saturn, who has quietly been exploring Pisces for the past few months. It’s been quite the different energy than Saturn in Aquarius, which took us from March 2020 to March 2023. (Read more about Saturn in Pisces.)
Noticeably so, Saturn isn’t as hard driving in Pisces as it was in previous signs. Instead it builds through intuition. It tries to align its ambitions with its heart. It feels a responsibility to the greater whole. Ruled by Jupiter, it’s looking for a sense of mission and purpose in the world. It favors art and music and spiritual explorations. (Or, maybe we’re feeling like we don’t quite have our sea legs with Saturn in Pisces.)
Saturn turns retrograde at 7 Pisces on June 17, 2023. We’ll get our first big check-in with what Saturn in Pisces means to us in the days around mid-June.
