Astro Daily: March 4, 2024

We start the week with a soggy sky. There are four planets in Pisces, which highlights element water — emotion and intuition, dreams and rest. Water prepares us for new chapters, new directions. With eclipses on the horizon, rest while you can.

Yes, we’re just three weeks away from our first eclipse, a Libra Full Moon lunar eclipse on March 25 at 5 degrees. This will be followed two weeks later by an Aries New Moon solar eclipse on April 8 at 19 degrees. March will ramp things up. We may feel like we’re coming to a pivot point, a juncture, a time when life wants to shift gears.

That said, eclipse energy can be felt at different points, even before the exact date of the eclipse, usually when the Sun, Moon, or Mars reaches the same degree as an eclipse. We’ve already been given previews of the eclipses if we know where to look.

For example, late December 2023 and early January 2024 was a point when connected with eclipse energy and may have seen events that directly tie into events to come in March and April. Then again, these eclipses also connect back to eclipses from April 20 and October 14, 2023.

Eclipses work over an 18-month period, bouncing back and forth between two signs of the zodiac. Right now, the eclipses are in Aries and Libra, the relationship axis of the zodiac. Collectively we are working on themes around connection and socialization, peace and negotiation. We’re examining past relationship patterns. We’re feeling a push to find our individuality, to cultivate a sense of self reliance.

The lunar eclipse on March 25 is the marquee event for the astrology of this month and one of the marquee events for the astrology of this year. It’s important to take note.
