It’s a new week and time to settle in with all our recent planetary changes. Although overshadowed by Saturn and Pluto switching signs, we’re in new territory with Mars, now in Cancer. We need to prioritize what matters and what nurtures and supports us.
Yes, as of this weekend, Mars is finally in Cancer, capping off seven-long months in Gemini. If Mars is the energy of motivation and desire, we’re now living that through Cancer’s need for home and family, stability and security. We may be feeling a little tender this week, especially since Mars is the ruler of Aries Season and its change signifies a significant shift in our focus. (Read Mars in Cancer: Sign by Sign.)
This brings to a conclusion of month with two major planetary movements. If you recall, Saturn arrived in Pisces on March 7, marking new collective hour, and Pluto made its initial exploration of Aquarius on March 23 for the first time in two centuries. What we can take from this is that March 2023 is an inflexion point for the year.

Now we just have to get ready for eclipse season, which is quickly approaching with the April 20 solar eclipse at 29 Aries. Think of the March 20 Aries New Moon as a dry run for the motivations, actions, and new beginnings that we’re getting ready to set in place.
