After four long months in and out of Aries, Venus comes home to Taurus. Here, Venus regains its strength again, helping us to cultivate our material lives and build resources. It inspires us to seek comfort as well, to enjoy the pleasures of earthly living.
In astrology, each planet — except for the Sun and Moon — plays ruler to two signs. Mercury to Gemini and Virgo, Mars to Aries and Scorpio, Jupiter to Sagittarius and Pisces, Saturn to Capricorn and Aquarius. We so often hear that Venus is the planet of love and relationships, ruling over Libra, that we often forget that Venus is a money planet as the ruler of Taurus.
We live in the physical plane. And through Taurus, the second sign of the zodiac as well as an earth sign, we become aware of our most basic needs … food, shelter, material resources. On one level, Venus in Taurus is a reboot, a push to make sure our basic needs are taken care of. On another, there’s the indulgence of Venus in Taurus … good food, pleasure, and the finer things in life.
With Venus now in Taurus and Mars soon to be in Virgo on June 17, we’re finally getting some movement in the astrology after the retrogrades earlier this year. If things have been slow or a bit forwards and backwards, that will begin to change, especially with Jupiter arriving in Cancer next week, on June 9.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for June 7-9, 2025.
