Another Moon in Capricorn day, one that points us towards Saturn in Pisces. As much as Saturn and Capricorn are about hard work and ambition, Pisces’s influence means that whatever we’re working towards, whatever we’re building, has to feed our soul as well as our soul’s ambitions.
If you know me, I love Saturn and I anticipated Saturn’s arrival in Pisces back in March with some personal expectation. I have a lot of planets in the mutable signs; Pisces is a mutable sign. But, also, I was beginning what’s called my Saturn opposition, which is one of the “midlife” transits that occurs when we’re in our mid 40s, and a marker of milestone-like events and achievements.
On a broader level, Saturn in Pisces is a much different vibe than the past six years, from 2018-2023, when Saturn was in its home turf of Capricorn and Aquarius. Frankly, Saturn in Capricorn and Aquarius was hard. (Pluto in Capricorn wasn’t helping things. Neither was a square to Uranus in Taurus.) Saturn in Pisces has seemed way more chill.
Nevertheless, Saturn is still Saturn. And, under its auspices, it means that we have to build towards our future, we need to honor our commitments, set healthy limits, and put things back into order. Just with Pisces, we have to find the balance between the demands of our physical world and our non-physical world.
We’re going to get a big check in with Saturn next week when it turns retrograde on June 17 at 7 degrees Pisces. More on that later.
