We’re on the move as Mercury arrives in Gemini and gives the season a reboot. As the sign of curiosity, communication, and information, Gemini will be a major lens into our experiences this month.
Mercury is what’s called the “ruler” or the boss of Gemini. It takes the energy of the sign and moves it around. Over the past two weeks, Mercury was in Taurus, which is to say that Mercury pointed the energy of the Gemini Sun and Gemini Season over to Taurus. If Mercury is how we think, listen, and make choices, in Taurus we had to be more cautious and pragmatic.
That begins to change, especially with Mercury and Jupiter together this week. It’s as if we’ve spent the last couple of weeks deliberating, now we need to get going. There’s a speed to Gemini, especially with Mars over in Aries.
Keep in mind that we’re a few days away from a Gemini New Moon. We’re not quite ready to rush forward. Instead, we’re in transition. Plus, with Saturn aspects on the horizon, we have major decisions or commitments to make.
