Welcome to Cancer Season! Happy solstice! It’s a power day as the Sun crosses one of the four directions. We enter a season devoted to emotional connection and care as well as the importance of home and family.
Cancer is the first water sign. It puts us in touch with primal water, which is to say our most basic emotional needs. We all want to feel held, safe, nurtured. There’s a sense of memory and nostalgia with Cancer, too, that emotional instinct that is often forged in childhood or even through ancestors and past lives.
This may be a season when some of us are wondering … Where is home? Who is home? Who is taking care of me, especially if I’m the one taking care of others?
Get back to basics this Cancer Season. Tend to the home. Spend time with family. Create new family. Eat a home-cooked meal. Dig into the past as well as your roots.
Venus is also wrapping up its time in Taurus and making a trine to Pluto as it prepares to leave. Relationships have to grow and evolve. We have to know our true power and worth.
