Last day of Gemini Season. And yet we’re only two days out from a Gemini New Moon. Are we coming or going? We’re planting seeds for new beginnings, but we’re also getting ready to change focus when the Sun arrives in Cancer tomorrow.
One of the features of the recent Gemini New Moon was its square to Neptune in Pisces. If Gemini, by its nature, is a sign of ideas and information, then Neptune in Pisces blurs the analytical and opens us up to our intuition.
A question I get asked often by clients is how to distinguish between the voice of our mind, which is to say the voice of our ego and anxieties and doubts, versus the voice of our higher self and our intuitive mind? Inner knowing is clear, precise, and without emotion. We may remember times where we just knew something, like we know our name, without any doubt. Then again, we may remember times when we didn’t listen to that inner knowing.
If something is wrapped up in a lot of emotion, then it’s the voice of our mind. I highlight this because sometimes Neptune can take us to great heights. But with the square, we need to work to tease out the difference between the voice of our mind and our inner knowing, a work that takes us throughout the lunar month and into July.
