We start the week with a couple of big shifts in the astrology as of yesterday, Mercury is now in Gemini and, more importantly, Pluto is back in Capricorn. Gemini Season pulls us forward, quickly so, but we have to revisit a story that began in 2008.
Yes, Pluto first arrived in Capricorn way back in 2008, initiating a story that’s still with us to this day. You can think of Pluto’s step back into Capricorn as an opportunity to integrate the deeper awareness that we learned over the last decade plus. After all, Pluto’s job is to reveal the shadow material (unconscious, unhealed, unintegrated, unexamined) that fuels key areas of our astrology so that we can change it once and for all.
With that in mind, Pluto is a force of evolution and change and seeing how Capricorn is the sign of matter and manifestation, this evolution has been profoundly structural in nature. For example, depending on what sign we are, we’ve had to restructure our relationship with money and material stability, ambition and power, home and family. As you may remember, Pluto may its first dip into Aquarius on March 23, a preview of a new era that we will step more fully into in 2024. In the meantime, we have unfinished business, one last thing to reveal, or an opportunity to take what we’ve learned and put it to good use. If you don’t know, this is the only time in our lives that Pluto will be in Capricorn. (Pluto takes 248 years to travel the entirety of the zodiac.)
In the meantime, we’re getting zippy with a Mercury in Gemini and an Aries Moon. With Mars in Leo, be creative, especially as you look towards the future. What do you want to create? What do you want to choose?
