Mars, the planet of motivation, arrives in Taurus for a six week stay. We’re driven to create material stability and security, to find pleasure and comfort. But it may be a bumpy ride as Mars actives recent eclipses.
In traditional astrology, Mars is a trigger. It’s the voltage needed to give life to an existing point in the sky or a configuration of planets. And now that Mars is in Taurus, it shares space with Uranus and the North Node of the Moon.
Think back to May 2018 and March 2019. I know we’ve done this exercise before and we’ll continue to do so. These months were the start of a major cycle when Uranus entered Taurus. What began was a seven year story of reinventing our relationship with money, value, investments, food, and stability. Wherever Taurus is in your astrology has likely seen noticeable if not significant change. Not sure where? Read Uranus in Taurus: Sign by Sign.
Then, back in November 2021, we had our first eclipse in Taurus in a series of eclipses that takes us into October 2023. Which is to say, our material lives demand our attention. We have to make big decisions. We have to reevaluate what we truly need and what’s really worth it.
So here comes Mars, a planet that’s going to make this story front and center as we go into August. Mars doesn’t like to sit and let things happen. No, it has to go after what it wants. It has to take the lead. It also gives us the fire and passion to have to the courage to know exactly what we’re worth.
If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for July 6.
