After a swift visit to Cancer, Mercury arrives in Leo, giving our Leo Season a boost of curiosity, play, and creativity. Over the next two weeks, our words have heart and soul, our ideas light a spark within.
Mercury also adds energy to a dynamic lineup of planets that includes Uranus in Taurus, Saturn in Aquarius, and the Sun in Leo. This “t-square” is pushing us to make major choices about the changes that have been brewing all year long.
As I’ve been saying over and over again, in 2021 it’s as if we have one foot in a new life, one foot in an old one. There are going to be points throughout this year — August in particular — where we are feeling the tension between the two.
With Mercury coming up to an opposition to Saturn later this week, we’ve got to get real or show Saturn that we can handle the responsibilities of the new changes we have been making.
