Pluto squares the Lunar Nodes in Aries-Libra, a force of evolution and change that reverberates into the coming months. In order to find our freedom through the Aries North Node, we have to be willing to tear things down and, in some cases, start over.
I didn’t really get a chance to talk about Pluto square the Lunar Nodes yet; it got lost in the other major aspects that dominated last week’s astrology. But when the Nodes switched signs on July 17, leaving Taurus-Scorpio for Aries-Libra, they immediately met up with Pluto in Capricorn at 29 degrees.
It may be hard to visualize without the aid of a chart, but imagine that Pluto is forming a 90 degree angle (a square) to a line running from the end of Aries to the end of Libra (29 degrees). Yep, we’re doing a little bit of geometry. Then again, astrology is a form of geometry.
The Lunar Nodes are some of the most important points in the sky. Not only do they make eclipses happen, but they act as portals of energy that bend time and usher experiences into our lives and mark major personal milestones.
It’s been a while since Pluto has been square the Nodes — January 2015. (On a personal note, that period profoundly transformed my life, for the better.) In order to transform, it means we have to face ourselves. This could be a dynamic month, as a result, that can open up a new opportunity to empower ourselves.
That said, the Moon’s traveling between Libra and Scorpio today, over the South Node of the Moon. Look for clues for a new story, one that will thread its way through our experiences into early 2025.
