Welcome to Leo Season! It was easy to miss the change in the astro weather, what with so much going on last week. Nevertheless, the Sun is now in the 5th sign of the zodiac, which invites us to shine, find our spark, and celebrate being ourselves.
That said, let’s do a quick review. Last week the Lunar Nodes changed signs, something that happens every 18-months. Like the points on the compass, the Nodes talk about a story arc that we’re living through every year and a half. Now that they’re in Aries-Libra, we’re on a journey to find our Aries, which is to say, find our courage and bravery, our independence and self-reliance, our power and motivation.
Then again, we have work to do in Libra, which is to say, to look at how we engage in relationship, how we connect and socialize with others. We have patterns to examine. Old lovers to reflect on. And, more importantly, see where we sacrifice or betray our needs for the needs of others.

Chiron is also now retrograde. Whenever a planet turns retrograde, it saturates our subconscious and emotions with its archetype. We may be reflecting on old pain points, something that connects to a larger story of longing or loss or suffering that has woven its way through our life (or lives).
