Last day of the lunar month. We wrap up a story that began with the June 25 Cancer New Moon. Where is home? Who is home? The past is sometimes a distant land that we need to revisit to find answers. Perhaps we found something over the past month.
Every new moon opens a four-week period that acts as a lens or a focal point lived through the archetype and energies of the zodiac at the time of the new moon. This coming lunar month, with the Sun and Moon in Leo, means that Leo and its energies of self, creativity, and play will be our primary focus.
The lunar month then becomes an act or a chapter in a larger story, one that plays out through the astrological year — from March equinox to March equinox — and picks up threads from different yet interwoven stories.
As of November 2024, Pluto is now in Aquarius, a sign that it will travel through for the next 20 years. With tomorrow’s new moon closely opposite Pluto, the coming four weeks will also pull a thread on a story that is still unfolding and that may even connect to events to come in the next two decades.
It’s hard to wrap our minds around the fact that time is a canvas that creation weaves itself upon.
That said, the next four weeks will also be a time to strip away anything that gets in the way of us expressing ourselves and being who we are.
