In contrast to yesterday’s soft energies of the Sun and Neptune, a growing opposition to Pluto brings us into the weekend. We’re being forced to confront something that needs to be irrevocably changed.

Just a reminder, Pluto’s been in Capricorn since 2008. Every planet has its own rhythm and time, but Pluto time is long, stretching over two and a half centuries in total. It’s not uncommon for Pluto to spend well over a decade in just one zodiac sign.

During the last 13 years, everything Capricorn has had to change. After all, that’s what Pluto does, it irrevocably changes something, often exposing a dark side that needs to be transformed. And what’s Capricorn? It’s structures and boundaries, the very physicality of life.

So, while we can look at this weekend’s opposition between the Cancer Sun and Pluto in Capricorn through the lens of this moment, it’s one of many oppositions, 13 in total, that have been threading their way through the last decade.

When we meet Pluto, we meet ourselves, often the dark self, the self of uncomfortable truths, unconscious agendas, and unhealed pain. Face yourself this weekend. But also fight for yourself.

If you are in AUSTRALIA or NZ, this forecast applies approximately for July 17-19.
