As we start the week, we’re coming to the end of the lunar month, a time when we have our sights on the future. What are our hopes and dreams for the weeks and months to come? It’s also a day to reach out to friends and community.

The Moon’s also in Taurus today, which is to say we’re focused on our material lives, from the resources we need in order to feel safe and secure to themes around value and worth — especially our value and worth in the world at large.

As we look ahead this week, we’ve got a couple of notable events on the horizon. First, Neptune turns retrograde tomorrow at 29 Pisces, which is not only the last degree of the sign but the last degree of the entire zodiac. We’re coming to the end of a great cycle. What do we need to release in order to move forward? (The last time Neptune was at 29 Pisces was 1862.)

Then there’s the Cancer New Moon on July 5 at 14 degrees, a new lunar month, a new page in the calendar of our lives. Cancer turns our attention to home and family and asks the questions, “Where is home and who is home?”
