We start the week with the dark of the moon, the days before a new moon when we wrap up the old and prepare to start anew. The past four weeks touched upon faith and exploration, knowledge and conviction. What have we learned since December 12?
With the Moon in Sagittarius we’ve come full circle. We may be in Capricorn Season, but we have a foot in the past, a sign that helps us to dig into deeper questions about meaning and purpose.
Helping us to ask the deeper questions is a square between Mercury and Neptune. Although they can sometimes confuse and confound when they are together, Neptune merely wants us to look beyond. It can be a creative and intuitive support to Mercury. Maybe the answers are within.
Keep in mind that the Capricorn New Moon on January 11 brings us to the midpoint of the eclipses, a time three months out and three months before. It’s a bridge between the solar eclipse of October 14 and the solar eclipse to come on April 8.
Doors may be opening and closing this week. We may be turning a corner as the Sun squares the Lunar Nodes on January 10. Events from October may be coming to a head. A relationship may be in the hot seat. People may be coming in and out of our lives. It’s worth observing and making notes. It’s a preview of the eclipses in March and April.
