The Moon arrives into Libra, a sign that not only highlights relationships over the next couple of days, but themes of justice, equity, and fairness as well. With Venus in Capricorn, however, we’re looking for a deeper connection, a connection built on commitment.
We’ve got three planets in Capricorn right now — Mercury, Venus, Mars — which is not unusual for this time of year, but what’s worth noting is that these planets are making a square to the Lunar Nodes, which is much less common. When planets square the Nodes, something wants to manifest in our lives. There may be events that mark turning points. There’s an electricity or magnetism to our interactions with others.
The Lunar Nodes are two points in the sky that make eclipses happen. They are the arc of fate. Presently they are in Aries and Libra, like an axis. Which is to say, there’s a lot of personal and collective emphasis on power and motivation, individuality and self reliance (Aries) versus relationship and connection, negotiation and compromise.
We’re also a couple of months away from our first eclipse in Libra, a lunar eclipse on March 25. The Libra Moon may be giving us insights into events to come in March as well as April and the solar eclipse in Aries on April 8. Take note.
