Venus arrives in Pisces, the sign of its exaltation and a sign where it does its best work. The next four weeks are an invitation to find beauty and glamor, to open our hearts to unconditional love, to invest in the connections that enrich us — body, mind, and soul.
We’ve also got a powerhouse opposition between Mars in Leo and Pluto in Aquarius today. This is the second of three aspects between Mars and Pluto as Mars retrogrades between Leo and Cancer and back to Leo. (The last opposition will be April 26.)
Mars and Pluto can move mountains. You often see the planets together in the charts of professional athletes as well as anyone who can call upon great feats of power, strength, and endurance.
However, an opposition from Pluto to Mars isn’t the easiest of energies. Pluto demands reformation and transformation. With Mars presently retrograde, Pluto compound’s the retrograde’s theme of reexamining our desires, how we use our power, and how we express ourselves. Note that this is the first opposition between Mars and Pluto where Pluto is in Aquarius.
Potent energy indeed. And this is energy that can be used consciously to reform and transform something personally or in our lives. Think of it like the energy needed to remodel and gut renovate a room in our homes. Which begs the question, what do you want to gut renovate?
